About Us
Mouvement Jeunesse Nationale is a global Haitian social and political movement created to unite Haitians across the world around one common mission: the rebirth of Haiti through unity, dignity, leadership, justice, education, economic empowerment, and national reconstruction.
Inspired by the courage of the heroes of the Haitian Revolution, the civil rights vision of Martin Luther King Jr., and the revolutionary consciousness of Malcolm X, MJN seeks to awaken a new generation of Haitian leadership capable of transforming the future of the nation.
MJN is not simply a political organization. It is a movement of national awakening.
The movement believes Haiti cannot continue under the same political culture that has produced corruption, division, instability, poverty, insecurity, and mass migration. Haiti needs a new system built on:
- accountability,
- transparency,
- national unity,
- civic responsibility,
- youth leadership,
- social justice,
- economic solidarity,
- and respect for human dignity.
MJN seeks to mobilize Haitians from every background:
- inside Haiti,
- across the diaspora,
- in North America,
- the Caribbean,
- Europe,
- Latin America,
- and Africa,
to participate in rebuilding a stronger and more respected Haiti.
The movement promotes:
- civic education,
- political awareness,
- youth empowerment,
- entrepreneurship,
- community development,
- social economy and solidarity (ESS),
- leadership training,
- humanitarian action,
- and democratic participation.
MJN believes the Haitian diaspora is not separated from Haiti — it is an essential force for Haiti’s reconstruction and future prosperity.
The organization aims to create a disciplined, organized, and internationally respected movement capable of influencing national dialogue, defending the Haitian people, and proposing long-term solutions for the country.
MJN stands for:
- unity over division,
- vision over chaos,
- action over empty promises,
- and national dignity over political exploitation.
The movement rejects violence, corruption, and political manipulation. Instead, it promotes strategic organization, peaceful mobilization, education, international engagement, and collective responsibility.
